I'm Kono Ndlovu,
The design engineer behind DigiTusk. I handle the design and the build as one job, not two, so the look and the function of your site never drift apart. Every project that comes through DigiTusk goes through me, from the first conversation to the last line of code.
Before I built interfaces, I studied how people think.
Trained as a psychologist at the University of Witwatersrand. Four years learning how people actually think, before I ever opened Figma.
Taught four- and five-year-olds. Planned lessons, held a room's attention, worked out why one explanation lands and another doesn't. Same problem design solves — just a different room.
Studied Interaction Design and Software Engineering at CODE University, with client work built into the course itself. Took a sabbatical year to work with the Berlin Founders Fund as lead interaction designer and co-founder of Formly.AI, a medical SaaS platform — building the interface, writing the brand guidelines, sitting in the funding conversations too.
Came home to do that for South African businesses. Psychology, teaching, and code stopped being three lines on a CV and became one way of working. That's DigiTusk — one person doing that work, by design, not by accident. As the studio grows, this page grows with it.

Good design is not optional.
Good design isn't decoration. It's whether someone using a screen reader can find what they need. It's whether a first-time visitor knows what to click without guessing. It's whether the experience is pleasant enough that someone comes back. Accessibility, usability, and the simple pleasure of using something that works — those are three outcomes of the same discipline, not three separate features.
I started DigiTusk because I saw that gap in the South African market, and because logically placed information and a well-built interface genuinely change how well a business works — not just how it looks.
