M&H Wellness

M&H Wellness — project preview

Growth-stage wellness brand, Johannesburg

2025 · 6 weeks · Next.js · Business Engine

The Brief

A wellness coaching brand that outgrew WordPress — rebuilt as a fast, booking-ready platform in Next.js, with phase two already underway.

The Situation

Every new enquiry meant a WhatsApp thread, a manual calendar check, and a payment chased by hand. Mabel and Heinrich were spending evenings on admin instead of sessions — and the site no longer felt like the practice they were building. They needed to be live before seasonal demand, with a clear path to bookings, payments, and resources later — without locking into another template they’d outgrow.

What We Did

The people using it

Clients needed to book a session without starting a phone chase.

Mabel and Heinrich needed one place to see who’s coming, what’s paid, and what still needs a reply — not three WhatsApp threads and a calendar app.

The platform & who owns it

WordPress had been outgrown — page templates couldn’t carry a booking-ready product path.

We rebuilt on Next.js so phase two (payments, resources, client hub) isn’t a rewrite.

They own the content and roadmap; we keep the build solid.

The design & what it does for the business

Warm, not clinical — trust at first glance for spiritual coaching.

Booking sits high on the page and was tested until it held together end-to-end.

Cadence: M&H saw a working version every week from week two.

What Changed

A booking now arrives confirmed and in the calendar before anyone picks up a phone. The site loads faster, enquiries come through the site instead of DMs, and phase two — payments and a client hub — is mapped, not invented later under pressure.

Bookings arrive confirmed — before anyone starts a WhatsApp chase.

Looking Back

We launched phase one without the full payment integration because M&H needed to be live before seasonal rush. Phase two picked it up — and the relationship continues past launch.
